Cybersecurity Association 'ASTRA' Hosts Successful Event at KMCT IETM

KMCT Institute of Emerging Technology and Management (KMCT IETM) witnessed a groundbreaking cybersecurity event on March 12 and 13, 2025. Organized by the Department of Cyber Security under the association ‘ASTRA,’ the event aimed to enhance awareness and skills in tackling digital threats.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by *Dr. Abdul Gafur M* , Principal of KMCT IETM, who highlighted the growing significance of cybersecurity in the digital age. The chief guest, *Mr. Beeraj K* , Assistant Sub-Inspector at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Kozhikode, inaugurated an exclusive cybersecurity exhibition in collaboration with *Red Team Hacker Academy.*

The exhibition provided a detailed exploration of various cyberattacks, their impact, and real-world implications. Students and professionals engaged in interactive sessions showcasing ethical hacking techniques, threat detection, and cybersecurity solutions.

In addition to the exhibition, the event featured competitions, workshops, and expert talks, empowering students with practical insights into the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.
