This interactive session was designed to introduce students to practical Python programming using Google Colab, a cloud-based coding platform widely used in academics, research, and industry. The resource person guided students through the fundamentals of Python, logical problem-solving, and essential programming constructs required for real-world applications. Participants gained hands-on experience in writing, executing, and testing Python code directly in the cloud without any installation requirements.
The session was highly engaging, with live demonstrations and practice exercises that helped students strengthen their foundational programming skills. This initiative supports the department’s ongoing efforts to promote computational thinking and practical coding proficiency among students.
